Working For Pennsylvania Taxpayers
Senator Dinniman voted for a state budget that contains NO tax increases, while investing new funds for education, alternative energy, and transportation infrustructure.
Dinniman has voted on three budgets since being elected to the senate and none of these budgets has increased the state personal income tax. In fact, these budgets have reduced some taxes such as the State Capitol Stock and Franchise Tax.
As County Commissioner, Dinniman was the only Commissioner to vote against the County's 28% tax increase.
Andy joined with Republican Senators in sponsoring the Taxpayer Bill of Rights (TABOR) legislation.
Senator Dinniman is one of the very few State Senators who refuses to take the unvouchered legislative per diem. As a result of not taking the per diem payments, Dinniman has saved Pennsylvania taxpayers $23,113.
